Manufactured from Match Technical's proprietary rubber, the LC-SR-01 Lens Cap is designed specifically to fit the 28mm Summilux f/1.7 ASPH lens on the Leica Q, Q2 & Q3 Series cameras. The Lens Cap can be fitted with the sun shade mounted or not mounted. When using the Lens Cap with the lens sun shade, the Lens Cap will lock perfectly in place to the back edge of the sunshade. This offers the ultimate dust protection and will not allow dust to enter around the beveled edges of the sunshade.
The Lens Cap also offers a significant level of protection not just from dust, but from accidental contact of the camera against hard objects. The Lens Cap shape effectively cushions from shock to the camera and internal stabilizing and focusing components. Our Lens Cap is washable and includes a lanyard and clip to help prevent loss.
