Let’s face it, Leica cameras are special and Leica owners are a special breed of photographers.  Not only are leica photographers creating some of the worlds most amazing images, their dedication to there cameras is as legendary as the cameras themselves. No other camera holds its value or even appreciates like a Leica.  Beyond dollars and cents is a value far more important, the value of the camera to the owner, and that is priceless.  Every scratch or ding can have as of much a psychological effect on the owner as a physical effect on the camera. 

To project these cameras while shooting, but still leaving them open to shoot at a moments notice was the challenge taken on by Artisan & Artists.  What they developed are the LMB series half cases. The LMB series at first appear to be the bottom half of a standard every-ready case, but on closer inspection you notice that the hard, heavy and thick leather has been replaced by smooth and supple rich Italian lamb and pig leathers.  These leathers stretch slightly to cradle the camera body securely adding less bulk or weight to the camera. The LMB covers and protects the areas of the camera that are most likely to come in harms way while still leaving all the controls and viewfinder are open for unfettered access.

Each LMB case is hand-cut and hand sewn for that old-world look that even the cameras themselves invoke.
